Diplomatic Leaders Development Program

The Diplomatic Leaders Development Program (DLDP) is committed to transforming high school students in Washington, DC and the metro area to become empowered, proficient and empathetic global leaders. Through immersive cultural sessions, skills institutes, and international projects, we provide students with the knowledge, networks, and first-hand experiences essential to navigate and lead in a globalized world. Our mission is to equip future leaders with the tools and opportunities to make a meaningful impact on the world around them.

Why DLDP?

In today's interconnected society, the voices of underrepresented communities are vital in shaping global affairs. Yet, too many young people are deprived of the opportunity to engage in this critical arena. This lack of access and resources limits their potential, diminishing the differing perspectives necessary for effective global diplomacy. DLDP uplifts these voices, bridges the deep-rooted gaps affecting marginalized communities and prepares students to excel in global leadership roles.
