Diplomatic Leaders Development Program

The Diplomatic Leaders Development Program (DLDP) is dedicated to transforming high school students in the Washington, DC area into informed and empowered global citizens. Through immersive cultural sessions, skills institutes, and international projects, we equip our students with the knowledge, networks, and experiences necessary to navigate and lead in a globalized world. Our mission is to inspire the next generation of leaders by providing them with the tools and opportunities to make a meaningful impact on a global scale.

Why DLDP?

In our increasingly interconnected world, the voices of underrepresented communities are crucial in shaping global affairs. Yet, too many talented young people lack the resources, access, and opportunities to engage in this vital arena. This gap in representation not only limits their potential but also hinders the diversity of thought and experience that is essential for effective global diplomacy. The DLDP is committed to bridging this gap by empowering high school students from underrepresented communities with the skills, knowledge, and networks they need to thrive in global leadership roles.
